Monitoring Commission Sets Guidelines
Focus Value Teamwork

August. The Monitoring Committee on the future of tourism in Las Terrenas held its second meeting with a wider group, and establishing basic guidelines for teamwork. After a welcome, its coordinator, Dr. Jose Bourget, reminded committee members that the group's goal was still looking for the answer to the question "What kind of tourist destination needs to become Las Terrenas in the next 10 years?"

also reminded that to answer the question began an inclusive and open, bearing in mind that the best answer lies in the wisdom within the diverse and complex, not in the minds of a few. "To complete the task we must work together and our effectiveness in teamwork depend on our ability to internalize and implement certain concepts and practices chosen by mutual consent, "noted Bourget.

the following ideas were provided as examples of concepts and practices for teamwork:
1. Everything that exists within a community is useful and good;
2. We have a reality, but the reality is insufficient, we seek a new "reality", a reality that the nature of our community has to be multiple,
3. Dialogue is the best way to privilege the voices to be heard, the fact questions and how they should be made;
4. Most people have had positive experiences and rewarding in the past;
5. Positive and rewarding experiences of the past people positioned within an area of \u200b\u200bsafety and comfort based on "known";

7. The most common way of responding to the search for a new reality is the focus on deficits (which is wrong, what is needed), but the best way is to focus on the possible and desired;
8. The possible and desired may be more powerful that evil has always existed;
9. Valuing and appreciating others, strengthening the relationship, will help us meet nustra goal;
10. The language used is capable of "creating" a new and future reality to which we can address. Let's talk about the future possible and desirable.

Similarly, the commission discussed the tentacles that threaten the effective teamwork, as illustrated in the following phrases:
