Windows 7 'XP Mode' is already operating
Microsoft has announced that it has completed the code "XP Mode ', which allows users to virtualize Windows Windows 7 XP. Microsoft
announced that it has completed development work on the virtualized version of Windows XP to Windows 7 users can use to run programs that do not work in the new operating system version of the company. Specifically Microsoft has said it has ended Mode XP code, software that is available for free on October 22, the same release date for Windows XP.
Designed initially for small companies, the virtualization layer is designed to help companies in transition from programs that do not work properly on Windows Vista or Windows 7.
To use the compatibility layer, you should run Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise or Windows 7 Ultimate. Additionally, users who want to use XP Mode also need a machine with a chip that has support for virtualization and that this feature is turned off, something that experts have warned that there is knowledge that is available to most users.
